A Day Full of Joy, Personal Touches, and Meaningful Moments
Dee and Grant’s wedding day on April 11th, 2026 was one of those days that felt joyful from beginning to end. The morning started at the cozy BnB they rented for everyone to gather, relax, and get ready together. The atmosphere was full of laughter, excitement, and those quiet moments that make a wedding day feel so special. Dee spent part of the morning doing her daughter’s hair and makeup, which was such a sweet and meaningful moment to capture.
The rest of the bridal party was getting ready with the help of some incredibly talented artists. Dulany Potter took care of makeup for the bride, bridesmaids, and mothers, while Whitley Klassen and Kate Cumpton styled hair. Everything came together beautifully, and you could feel the anticipation building as the day unfolded.
One of my favorite moments of the day was Dee and Grant’s first look behind the BnB. We stepped out into a nearby field, and it turned out to be the perfect setting. The moment they saw each other was full of emotion, excitement, and genuine connection. Those first looks are always so meaningful, and this one felt especially intimate and real.
From there, we all made our way to Berries and Honey Venue in Kansas City, Missouri, a charming and welcoming space that fit their day perfectly. Once we arrived, it truly became a team effort. Family and friends came together to help set everything up, which added such a personal and heartfelt touch to the entire day.
Dee created all of the decorations herself, and they were absolutely beautiful. Every detail felt intentional and full of personality, making the space feel warm and uniquely theirs. The ceremony itself was small and intimate, surrounded by the people who matter most. One of the most special parts was when Grant, the groom, ended the ceremony with a prayer he had written. It was deeply personal and brought such a meaningful close to their vows.
Throughout the day, there was so much laughter, love, and connection. It was clear that this wasn’t just about the wedding; it was about the people, the relationships, and the memories being created in each moment.
Dee and Grant’s wedding was filled with love, intention, and unforgettable moments, and I’m so grateful I got to be part of their beautiful day.
