A Full Circle Moment at Hazel Hill Farm
here are some sessions that become more than just photographs, and Jayde and Carter's engagement session was one of those for me. I've known Jayde since she was a baby, so being asked to photograph such an important milestone in her life was truly an honor. Watching someone you've known for so many years grow into the person they are today is incredibly special, and getting to preserve this chapter of her story made this session one I'll never forget.
We met at Hazel Hill Farm in Centerview, Missouri, one of my favorite locations for engagement photography. The evening couldn't have been more beautiful. The rolling fields, peaceful pond, and warm natural light created the perfect setting for a romantic session. Hazel Hill Farm always offers so much variety, and every backdrop seemed to complement Jayde and Carter's personalities perfectly.
From the very beginning, these two made the session so much fun. We laughed constantly, joked around, and simply enjoyed the evening together. Those are always my favorite sessions because genuine laughter creates genuine photographs. Nothing ever felt forced. Every smile, every glance, and every embrace reflected the love they share and made photographing them feel effortless.
Jayde was absolutely stunning throughout the entire session. She carried herself with so much confidence and grace, and her smile lit up every location we visited. Carter couldn't have been a better partner beside her. He was kind, easygoing, and so supportive throughout the evening. Watching the way he looked at Jayde made it easy to see just how much he loves her. They have such a natural connection that shines through in every image.
As a Missouri engagement photographer, these are the sessions I cherish most. Engagement sessions aren't just about beautiful portraits. They're about documenting this exciting season of life before two people begin their next chapter together. Every couple has a unique story, and it was such a privilege to help tell Jayde and Carter's.
